Environment Policy Statement

DIS Group of Companies is committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment, as a responsible member of society whose task lies in the preservation of the global environment. Our Group will make every effort to contribute to human health and preservation of the global environment in each phase of its corporate activity.

The key points of our environment strategy to achieve this are:

• Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.

   

• Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement. Find appropriate methods to dispose of waste and contaminants that are produced through use of our products in every stage of life cycle of these products.

   

• Actively promote recycling and conservation of materials and resources both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers, at every stage of our products’ life cycle from research, design, production and sales, to services and disposal.

   

• Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution, making efforts to preserve human health and the global environment, ensuring all employees act in accordance with these principles.

   

• Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Group.

   

• Endeavour to use an accredited program to offset any greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activities.

   

• Observe and adhere to all regulations with waste management, dust and debris prevention and contamination, as well as ensure all environment and MEPA regulations are strictly maintained throughout its operations at the factory and on-site.
